- What is the Annual Recital?

 

At JH Music Studio, every student taking regular lessons is invited to perform in our annual recital, held multiple times throughout the year.

These concerts take place in a warm, welcoming environment where students can share their progress with family and peers.

It's a joyful and low-pressure performance space that helps students grow as musicians.

Preparing for a Concert gives students a clear and exciting goal.

They become more motivated, practice with greater focus, and learn to express themselves through music.

Selecting and polishing their favorite pieces helps build confidence—and that confidence often extends beyond music, into school, friendships, and life.

As students gain confidence through annual recital, they may be invited to perform in larger community events such as our Benefit Concerts or Senior Home Outreach Performances.

These concerts allow students to use their music to serve others and bring joy to the community. It's a beautiful way to connect music with compassion and service.
